Low, Low Prices. Too Good to be True?

Read on for the three ways we are able to keep our prices so low!
You know you are curious!

Okay, so, you visit MrWatch.com. You check out the latest trends in watches, and you also look at some of the traditional styles we have available. You find the perfect watch, and it is 60% off! But, then you squint at your computer screen with growing suspicion. How is the price so low? What’s the catch??

Nothing. We promise!

Still not convinced? Read on and we will put your mind at ease.

First, we were founded on the notion of providing watches to customers at the lowest price possible. Other jewelry stores and websites sell these items at full retail, which is a huge markup. We decided the customers are the center of our business, and the rest is history.

Secondly, we have a very large sales volume. So, to have enough inventory, we purchase in very large quantities from the manufacturers, unlike jewelry stores. As a result we are able to obtain extra discounts from the manufacturers since we buy in these large quantities. Then, we simply pass along the cost savings to our customers.

Thirdly, we are an online company only. We do not have any physical retail locations. Therefore, our overhead costs are very small compared to a retail store. Again, we pass along the cost savings of this to our customers.

Really, it all just boils down to the fact that we know that you, our customers, are the reason we are open for business today. We will do anything and everything we can to guarantee your satisfaction. And we mean it!

Tune in next time to read four factors that make a reputable website. We will tell you red flags to watch out for, when to run and when to buy. Until next time!

International Shipping – Everything You Need to Know

So you want to ship a package internationally. MrWatch can do that for you, no problem. Below are a few things you should know to make it as easy as pie.

Why do we ship internationally? The quality of our watches coupled with the prices we offer are unmatched, and we want to share this with as many people we can around the globe. Okay, that is great, but you want to know how much and how fast you will get your item. Read on.

Canada and UK: Standard shipping rates to Canada and the United Kingdom are $9.95, and it will be delivered within 4-14 business days. These are sent fully insured. We also offer Expedited Shipping to Canada and United Kingdom for $24.99, which is delivery in 1-3 business days.

All Other Countries Outside the USA: Shipping rates to all other countries outside the US are $42.99, and it will be delivered in 2-5 business days. These are also sent fully insured.

All international packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility.

So, that brings us to customs and duties. Basically, if we ship a package outside the US, it is subject to import taxes, customs, duties and fees levied by your country. We have no idea how much any of these fees will be. It is different for each and every country. Your respective country charges these fees, and they collect the money -- these funds do not come to MrWatch. Therefore, we have no control over this. To obtain an estimate, you can always call your local customs office and they should be able to help you out.

What if you return your order you wonder? No problem. After returning your order just contact customs and provide them with the tracking number showing you returned it to MrWatch. You will be able to have the customs you paid refunded by your country. Note that we cannot refund you for this, because we do not have these funds – they were not paid to us. Make sense?

Okay, good. Now, what about the warranty on your watch? Well, for many of the brands we carry, there is an international warranty. Some of the manufacturers have warranty service centers around the globe. This is not guaranteed, however. Some brands may only have a warranty center in the US. If you have a specific brand in mind and you wish to know more about the warranty, feel free to contact our customer service team and they will be able to help.

What else? Just a few things to keep in mind. Product manuals, instructions, warranty information packets and safety instructions may or may not be in the language of your country. This depends on whether or not the manufacturer put this information in multiple languages. Some do, some don’t. It is also possible that the watches and any accompanying materials may not be designed in accordance with your countries standards, specifications or labeling requirements. Additionally, if there is an electrical component, note that it may not conform to your countries voltage, which might require the use of an adapter or converter. Lastly, you are responsible for making sure what you are purchasing is lawful to import to your country.

Whew! Seems like a lot of information, but we want to make sure that all of you have all the info needed. In the end, shipping internationally is easy, and we do it every day! Like we said before, our prices and products are so good, how could we not share them with the globe?

If you have any comments, questions or concerns let us know. We are here to help, and we promise we will make shipping internationally simple and pain-free for you. Okay, well, stop reading this and get to our site – the sooner you place your order, the faster your package will arrive!

My Seiko Isn’t What I Expected! Help!

There is often misconceptions and confusion when ordering anything from the internet. You are unsure of the company, of the prices, and of the quality of the product you want to purchase.

Luckily you are ordering from MrWatch.com, so you know our prices are low and all of our items are brand new and authentic!

Even so, confusion or misconceptions can still be a problem. Some of the most common questions we receive deal with our Seiko watches. Worry no more, for everything will become clear.

We will list some common questions here and their answers. Okay, here goes.

Question #1
I received my Seiko, but it is in a different box than I expected and there is no manual included! Why?

Answer
Seiko has created over 10 different boxes to accommodate their watches. As a result, we have a myriad of Seiko boxes that are ever changing. Seiko, like many manufacturers, ship their watches separately from the boxes.

Now, regarding the manual question: many of Seiko’s watches are relatively simple, and are automatic with a date function. Or maybe the watch is automatic, with no other programmable features. As a result, paper manuals are not provided to us for these models. If you visit Seiko’s website, many of their manuals exist here to eliminate paper usage. Also if you have any questions regarding the functions of your watch our trained specialists would be happy to assist.

Question #2
I need to obtain warranty work on my Seiko watch. Where do I send this?

Answer
Most of our Seiko watches can be sent back to Seiko directly for warranty repair. However, we do carry the Seiko 5 Automatic line, and this line cannot be sent to Seiko directly. Why, you wonder? We’ll tell you! These watches originally were created and manufactured for the Japanese market, not the US market. We found the quality and price point of these automatic watches to be a good addition to our selection. However, as a result, Seiko does not provide warranty themselves for these models. Never fear though – we would never sell a watch without a warranty! These particular watches have a one year warranty through our company directly. We will handle everything for you. Piece of cake!

Question #3
When I looked at the Seiko watch I bought online, the picture showed the date as being red. But it is Wednesday today and the day is grey or black. Why?

Answer
For many Seiko watches with a date feature, the picture of the watch shows Sunday in the date window. Sunday is often the color red on Seiko watches. However, the other days of the week are grey or black. This is simply a design feature – we promise you received the right watch!

Question #4
I ordered a Seiko watch from MrWatch, and when I received it the days of the week are in Spanish! How do I get the day to appear in English?

Answer
Don’t worry – we can help. Many of the Seiko watch models with a date feature come with the ability to view the days in Spanish and in English. The fix for this is easy – just pull out the crown and turn the days of the week. As soon as you get to the correct day in English, push the crown back in and you are good to go! The days will now advance properly, and in English.

Question #5
My Seiko watch is running slow or my Seiko watch is running fast. What do I do?

Answer
If your watch is “Quartz”, or has a battery, you will most likely need to have the battery replaced if this happens. However, if you watch is automatic, there is no battery. Over time, all automatic watches generally need servicing to regulate the time. Even so, your brand new watch might need calibrated shortly after receiving it, or even right away. Calibration refers to servicing the watch to “fine tune it”. Basically this is when a watch service professional very carefully adjusts the timing of the watch so that they can hone in the accuracy.

Well, there you have it! Questions and answers to the most common questions we receive regarding Seiko watches.

If you have any comments or additional questions we did not answer, please post them! We love hearing from our customers.
